Hi Ruthie – I’ve recently started following your blog and now twitter and I thank you for the inspiration!
I’m on a journey to get healthy and was wondering what you do for breakfast? It is the one meal I really struggle with (I never ate breakfast in the past and on the rare occasion I did we went out for pancakes, waffles, etc.). I’m not a huge egg eater but could eat them occasionally. Anyway, I’ve tried a few of your recipes and love them so thought I’d ask you about breakfast.

Stephanie, I could easily not eat breakfast but all studies show it is important and people are much more successful in weight loss. You could go several different ways. You could drink a low carb protein shake and a peice of fruit. You could eat a turkey sandwhich, opened face with light cheese and spinach. Cearal with fruit and skim milk. I also would go to the everythingatarian, Holly, and ask her. She has eaten healthy for a long time and would probably have more suggestions. Her site is on my blog roll.
I am learning to love the journey because I am meeting people like you who are also on the same road, maybe taking different paths, but the goal is the same, a healthy life. It is a gift for me to meet people like you. Thank you,
